The primary aim of this study visit was to introduce to the participants the processes within the project Košice - European Capital of Culture (ECC) 2013, which could serve as an inspiration for the team members of Novi Sad ECC 2021. The cooperation with former ECCs should also serve as education for team members of Novi Sad ECC 2021, who then have the possibility to gather information about positive examples and mistakes during the realization phase of ECC projects. The study visit participants were mainly interested in sharing the Slovak experience on preparation of infrastructure projects, logistics of cultural events and sustainability of the ECC project after its ending (the so-called "legacy strategy").
