Description

The project aims to improve understanding of health and hygiene issues; to establish a sanitary napkin production unit based on training, techniques, equipment and resources to produce hygienic, cost-effective, eco-disposable sanitary napkins; to trial safe modes of eco-friendly/discreet disposal of sanitary napkins within 2 schools and within the 25 target villages; to improve the socio-economic status of women by establishing and running an economically-viable sanitary napkins production unit while marketing and selling sanitary napkins within target area.
