The goal of the smallgrant was to provide the inhabitants of the occupied territories of Georgia (Abkhazia and Tskhinvali) with information on the benefits of European and NATO integration and to share peaceful political approach and civil integration strategy. This goal was achieved through a two-day seminar in Batumi with the active participation of 14 young people, focusing primarily on the EU, NATO and the benefits of Georgia's integration into the Euro-Atlantic institutions. Representatives of the Cabinet of the State Secretary and the MInistry of Defense have led discussions to clarify the EU structure, functioning mechanism, principles, values, and Georgia's progress in the process of joining NATO structures and their mutual co-operation. Through various training tools, the seminar participants could express their views on the issue.
