The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter only "operator") respects the privacy of every individual (hereinafter only "user") using the www.slovakdev.sk website (hereinafter only "website"). This data protection specifies key terms and conditions, i.e. the user's personal data that will be processed, provided or otherwise made available as well as the purpose and manner of such processing of personal data and information. At the same time, it provides the user with information on how to proceed if they do not wish to have their personal data processed, provided or otherwise made available as a result of visiting the website.
The user provides the operator with personal data according to the provisions of Act No. 122/2013 Coll. on Personal Data Protection and the amendment of relevant acts (hereinafter only "personal data" and the "Personal Data Protection Act") in order to provide services to the user within the scope of a defined set of activities (outlined in Act No. 516/2008 Coll. as amended by Act No. 532/2010 Coll. and Act No. 122/2013 valid from June 1, 2013) and for the purposes of recording such data for an indeterminate period of time.
The user agrees to allow the operator to process such data for the purposes defined above and to dispose of it in line with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act. Consent to personal data processing is awarded voluntarily and can be recalled at any time and at no charge via a registered letter. If such consent is recalled, the operator shall cancel the user's account and remove all of the user's personal data received on the basis of such consent. The user will be notified of the personal data removal via email.
For the purpose of these rules, the user's personal data includes all data that is not publicly accessible to other users or that is not otherwise shared (for instance, the email address used for registration and communication, for communication between the user and the operator, etc.). The user’s personal data does not include the IP address of the computer and the time that the user accesses the site.
The operator will refrain from providing any of the user's personal data to a third party without their consent. The operator will only complete such personal data transfer if requested based on a generally binding legal regulation and/or on an authorized request from a public authority.
In some cases the operator can process, provide or otherwise make available the user’s selected personal data and information which is not subject to the Personal Data Protection Act. Such data, for instance, includes the type of web browser in use, the type of operating system on the computer used to access the website, and the name of the domain from which the user accessed this site. Such data is used exclusively for the purpose of mapping user behaviour and improving the services we provide.
The operator may also save specific details on the user’s computer when they are viewing certain parts of the content or participating in a discussion group on the website. Such data may include cookies or similar types of files that enable the operator to adapt the website or discussion to the level of the user’s interest or preferences. These files can be removed from the hard disk from most web browsers. Please note that deleting or blocking cookies may interfere with the full use of our website.
