The aim of the project is to continue in successfully implemented educational activities and trainings of the center in the field of electric and solar technologies and technologies to secure safe water resources and ecological water management (WATSAN) and to extend them by irrigational systems that would be at the same time practically applied in a school garden.
During two year project implementation, 30 electric and solar energy technicians and WATSAN/irrigation system technician will graduate the St. Peter Claver Center. The center will also continue in implementing various small scale projects to help local community and in places like hospitals, schools, etc.
Four teachers and 140 students from Girls´ Secondary School in Rumbek will be trained in the field of agriculture. Gained knowledge will be then practically used in the school garden irrigated by a system installed in the school garden in cooperation with students from the center. During free time, girls under the lead of teachers will grow plants in the garden to improve quality of their nutrition.
