Main objectives: • To support fulfilling sustainable development goals in Serbia • To strengthen capacities of local organisation and vulnerable communities • To strengthen long-term partnership between ADRA Slovakia and local ADRA Serbia and to support development cooperation between Serbia and Slovakia • To build capacities of Slovak citizens in the field of humanitarian and development cooperation • To raise awareness in Slovakia about the situation in Serbia and in local vulnerable communities Detailed activities description of volunteer The volunteer will actively contribute to the development of ADRA Serbia projects within various project phases, in close cooperation with internal project team ADRA or independently (accordingly to his/her competences and ability). • Support for project manager, mainly in these program activities: WASH activities, work and aiding homeless people and social inclusion of Roma people: • Accompanying and assistance in field visits and activities in communities (homeless people, Roma families) for the purpose of needs-assessment or distribution of material help (food, hygienical kits etc.) • Assisting in vocational trainings to young Roma adults addressing the improvement of their employability • Assisting/ conducting social and recreational activities with socially vulnerable youth aiming development of their soft skills • Administrative and Data generating support consisting mainly of regular reports preparation, collecting and processing the feedback of beneficiaries (as a part of MEL), follow-uping on correspondence • Participation in PR/communication acitivities of organisation : • Assisting in creating of communication plan and campaigns of organisation • Collecting data on project activities (point 1) for PR manager usage • Assisting in communication of project outputs by means of contributing to the newsletter, press releases, social media posts, mainly, but not exclusively, for increasing of visibility towards to abroad audience. In the line with this, the translation of communication materials into English/ Slovak/ other EU languages will be done. • Logistics of public and online events. • Assistance to planning and organisational development department: • Actively searching for funding, partnerships, new grant opportunities (desk research) • Capacity Building of internal team of ADRA Serbia by bringing/ searching of transformative experiences and best practices in common areas (inclusion of Romas, migrants and issue of homelessness) from Slovakia and EU.
