This Migrant and Refugee Fund aims at supporting CEB’s Member States’ efforts to ensure that migrants and refugees who arrive on their territory enjoy basic human rights, such as shelter, food and medical aid, as well as personal security. The Fund may also be used to help CEB Member States integrate these populations and enable them to rebuild their lives in dignified conditions.
According to the agreement between the CEB and the Slovak Ministry of Finance, at least 50% of the Slovak contribution in the amount of EUR 300 000 will be used to finance projects in those CEB Member States that are on the OECD DAC list of ODA recipients.
