Civil society plays an irreplaceable role in modernizing society and increasing the degree of transparency in the process of adopting public policies. In the autonomous region – Gagauzia, there is no room for a constructive discussion between civil society and public institutions, so far. In addition, the apathy of young people manifests itself enormously in brain drain beyond the borders of Gagauzia and Republic of Moldova as well. Therefore, project will create an expert open platform for interaction between governmental, non-governmental, business and interest institutions. At the same time, we will introduce to young representatives of non-governmental organizations and public institutions of the autonomy, successful Slovak initiatives, as well as the institutional structure of the European Union, during the thematic trip to Slovakia and to Brussels. Last but not least, it will enable young active people from different regions of Moldova to meet and share their experiences in the context of civic activism and community building, which will result in an increase in confidence across Moldovan society. The target groups of the project are: citizens and government of ATU Gagauzia, civil society organizations and institutions, youth in Gagauzia, professional and interest organizations, non-governmental sector, entrepreneurs, media and the general public.
