The main aim of the project is to support the business activities of the applicant and the Kenyan entrepreneurs in Kenya and at the same time contribute to creating the conditions for sustainable long-term availability of drinking water by linking business environment with development. The project includes the transfer of the Slovak experience and know-how into the recipient country, creating long-term sustainable business relations between the applicant and the Kenyan entrepreneurs, including the strengthening of a 3 year business cooperation with local partner of the applicant Frontier Haulage & Const. Co. Ltd. The project will also improve access to drinking water for local communities. Support to local businesses: Transfer of Slovak experience takes place through several tools such as in particular: workshops, providing counseling and advice to entrepreneurs, regular presentation of water purification equipment and forming business relationships in the showroom areas, support for developing a business plan for Kenyan entrepreneurs, participation in international exhibitions in the field of water Kenya and the like. The project includes the development of trade relations with Kenyan entrepreneurs Frontier Haulage & Const. Co. Ltd, whereas he decided to support this project by covering all the costs associated with the acquisition, establishment and operation of the showroom, including recovery of costs for rent, security service personnel showroom (office worker, vendor), insurance, Mobile Equipment Area (furniture), hardware (printer, computer) and the like. The above mentioned foster the sustainability of project and greater participation and responsibility of the local partner. At the same time in view of the limited budget, the decision of the Kenyan entrepreneur creates room in the budget and allows a much greater involvement of Slovak experts, their know-how and experience to be able to directly deliver in the field. Support for local communities: The result of the project is to increase the food security, particularly access to drinking water, cleaner running water purifying device, which is achieved by modern technologies and the partial transfer of these technologies in the form of training of Kenyan entrepreneurs. Another added value is the fact that even very weak social groups will be able to afford to buy drinking water for them for a reasonable price. The project also includes an innovative and sustainable business plan, because it allows for investing funds derived from the sale of water purification equipment to (i) activities continue after the project respectively. (Ii) support other activities in Kenya and the sustainability of the project is also enhanced long-term business relationships applicant in the country (eg. 3 year collaboration with local partner kontraktora- Frontier Haulage & Const. Co., Ltd.). When using e.g. 15 water purification devices Kenyan entrepreneurs can project to create 20-40 direct jobs and several dozen indirect. The project is also scheduled to have workshops for the local community and NGOs.
